Friends & Family CPR
This course is intended for individuals who want to learn the basic skills of CPR. It is a popular choice for families with newborns, young children, or elderly parents.
Friends & Family First Aid for Children
This course is an excellent complement to Friends & Family CPR. It is designed to help family members respond to emergencies until professional help arrives. Topics include prevention, bleeding injuries, burns, broken bones, shock, and more.
Friends & Family CPR With First Aid
This course combines CPR and first aid training to help families feel more prepared to respond in emergency situations.
CPR & First Aid for Babysitters
This course helps your child gain confidence and stand out when applying for babysitting jobs. During this 4-hour class, students will learn how to respond to choking in both conscious and unconscious infants and children, how to perform infant and child CPR, and how to provide basic first aid. Topics include the use of prescribed EpiPens for severe allergic reactions, bandaging minor cuts, and caring for burns. Students will also receive general instruction on injury prevention, diapering an infant, and understanding basic infant, toddler, and child behavior. The importance of calling 911 is also emphasized throughout the course.
